4 Books to Get You Into the Holiday Spirit

This post is sponsored by HTP books, but as always all opinions are my own!

It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year, and all I want to do is light some pine scented candles, grab a big cup of hot cocoa and cozy up next to the Christmas tree with a good holiday book. Sure, Hallmark movies and Netflix Christmas specials are great, but if you prefer books, like I do, here are four festive reads to get you into the holiday spirit.

Holidays in Virgin River

Robyn Carr

I wasn’t familiar with the Virgin River series before picking up this book, but after reading it, I’m looking forward to starting Virgin River on Netflix, too! I love that the book included two stories, making it a super quick read, and I thought it was so fun that they included recipes inspired by the characters. I might even make the Slow Cooker Mulled Wine recipe tonight!

Home Sweet Christmas

Susan Mallery

Home Sweet Christmas is set in a charming small town called Wishing Tree and follows the stories of two friends as they unexpectedly find love during the holidays. I’m a sucker for a good holiday romance story, so this one drew me in pretty quickly and kept me hooked until the end!

All is Bright

RaeAnne Thayne

Having read and loved one of RaeAnne Thayne’s previous books, The Path To Sunshine Cove, I was so excited to see another one of her titles in the mix when I received these books! And just like before, Thayne did not disappoint! The story follows Sage McKnight, an architect and young mother and Mason Tucker, a former pro baseball player and single father as they unexpectedly (and reluctantly) fall in love.

Snowed in For Christmas

Sarah Morgan

When Lucy Clarke shows up at the Miller family’s doorstep hoping to win the business of Ross Miller in order to save her job, she’s first mistaken as his girlfriend. By the time everyone figures out the mix up and why she’s really there, they discover that they’re snowed in and she won’t be able to leave anytime soon. Miller family secrets start to surface while the chemistry between Lucy and Ross becomes undeniable. This was such a fun story of family drama mixed with a bit of romance!

Whether you’re looking for your next read, or need a gift for your favorite bookworm, any one of these Christmas books would make a great choice! What’s on your reading list this week?
