Kauai Instagram Round-up pt. 1

Hey friends!

I've been busy traveling (Nashville to Seattle, then Seattle to Kauai) and haven't had much time to post in a while, so I thought I'd do in Instagram round-up post and link everything from the past few Instagrams I've posted (@oliviasheastyle on instagram!). I know this is kind of a longer post, but I tried to make it worth your while! If you like what you see, feel free to share! I'd love to hear your feedback, so leave me a comment or send me an

email

if you have any questions about anything in this post!

Break the Ice Insulated Tumbler

 / MD Designs

Monogrammed Beach Bag in Pink Stripe

I literally bought this tumbler because I thought it would look good in a specific picture I was planning. Typical. Still haven't even taken that picture. But I use it ALL THE TIME. So it was definitely worth it. This Bag is probably one of my favorite purchases so far this summer, as I have LIVED out of it this trip. I carry it with me everywhere just because it holds everything I could possibly want to bring with me and then some.

Triangl

Brigitte - In the Summertime Bikini

I bought this swimsuit in a Small for the bottoms and a Small + for the top. I was a little iffy on ordering a small because I almost always buy a medium, but according to the sizing chart online the small was a 4 and the medium was a 6, and since I am usually somewhere between a 2 and a 4, I figured a small was the safer bet. Sadly, it was slightly too tight, and for the price I figured it was worth it to send it back for a size up.

White Floral Print Long Sleeve Romper

(I know I've posted about this romper before, but it is seriously the best romper I've ever owned, anddd it's on ON SALE FOR UNDER $20!) Nordstrom

Splendid 'Dominique' Platform Wedge Sandal

 / Nordstrom

J

effrey Campbell 'Rodillo-Hi' Wedge Sandal

The Wedges are actually Lucky Brand, but they are from last summer and no longer available, so I linked a couple of similar pairs (I've been obsessing over these Jeffrey Campbell ones forever and they just got restocked!)

Jack Rogers

Georgica Jelly Sandal

 / Nordstrom

48 mm Mirrored Sunglasses

/ Alex and Ani

Cowboy Boot Charm Bangle (in Silver)

 / Alex and Ani

Conch Shell Charm Bangle (in Silver)

 / H&M

Long Tank Top

(I got a Large and it was just long enough)

The sunglasses pictured are actually from BP, but I couldn't find them on the Nordstroms website, so the Steve Madden ones are the most similar ones that I could find. Also, I bought my "swimsuit coverup" in store at H&M and couldn't find the pink color online, but I do have the striped one I linked and I am absolutely in love with both. So perfect to just throw on before heading to the pool. And for under $6, you can't beat it!

Ps. If you like mysteries and are looking for a good poolside book suggestion, I just finished Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" and let me say, it was AMAZING! I read it in two days because I could not put it down. I would HIGHLY recommend it. I've started reading another one of her books because I'm hooked. (also I'm looking for more book suggestions, so let me know if you've read any good ones recently!)

Aviator Classic Light Blue Gradient

Georgica Jelly Sandal

The shorts I actually made myself from cutting a pair of jeans that were slightly too loose in the leg, but I linked some similar ones

here

. Just a tip, I would not recommend denim shorts for an 8 mile bike ride. It was terrible. Just, no.

Pink Queen

Navy Flag Print Swimsuit

 / Alohaz

Classic Brown Pali Hawaii Sandal

Fun fact, I actually bought this swimsuit for spring break, but it wasn't delivered until the day after I got back. Clearly I'm not very good at planning ahead, being as one of the swimsuits I ordered for my trip (the Triangl one above) was the wrong size, and the other (this

Monogrammed Bandeau Top

from Marley Lilly) was delivered the day after I left. Thank goodness I still have another month and a half of summer!

Jessica Simpson

Flounce Bandeau Top

(Good news! I bought this top last summer and now it's on CLEARANCE!) / H&M

Scalloped Bikini Bottoms (in Black)

I know it says that the only sizes left in these bottoms are 12 and 14, but bear with me. These are actually a 12, and since they tie on the side, they fit almost any size (like I mentioned above, I'm usually a 2 or a 4). I will say though that since they are a larger size, they are slightly loose in the back, but it's hardly noticeable-- especially when you're swimming or tanning!

Flounce Bandeau Top

In my family, these sandals are affectionately referred to as "John and Lisa" sandals, after my aunt and uncle who have practically lived in them for as long as I can remember. I remember thinking that they were SO ugly, so when my sister talked about wanting some I thought she was crazy. Until we found them. Literally the second I tried them on I realized that I absolutely HAD to have them, because they are THE most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I haven't taken them off since I bought them, and I am absolutely not ashamed. They have them in black too and I NEED them.

Sadly, the monogram top that my sister (@cellenstyle on Instagram, go follow her!) is wearing in this picture (as well as the Marley Lilly mint and black monogram top that I linked under one of the pictures above) is currently out of stock on Marley Lilly. I'm sure they'll re-stock soon, but until then, I have had a lot of luck finding monogram swim tops on Etsy, so if you can't wait until they re-stock I'd try looking there! (:

Monogrammed Beach Bag in Pink Stripe

/ J Crew

Linen V-neck Pocket Tee

 / Forever 21

Distressed High-Waist Cut-offs

I apologize for the fact that other than the beach bag which I gave a direct link to, everything in this outfit is old so I had to find lookalikes. The J Crew shirt that I found is almost identical, except probably better because it comes in at least ten other colors. The shorts I'm wearing I actually borrowed from my sister-- who bought Goodwill mom jeans and cut them herself, but the Forever 21 pair I linked are pretty similar (and under $20). The Necklace I got from Francesca's last year, but I linked a couple similar ones

here

 (this one is Kendra Scott)

here

 (a little more affordable),

here

(I've just decided I need this one. It has to happen) and

here

 (this one is only $14).
