Blog Shoot Bloopers!

6-IMG_2753.jpg

Fun fact, for every posed, nicely edited picture you see here on my blog or over on my Instagram, there's at least 5 terrible ones. Whether it's the wind whipping my hair into my face, me moving right before the camera snaps the picture, or just the crazy eyes making their appearance, most of the time I honestly find way more bad pictures than good ones. Like, laughably bad pictures. So I decided it was about time to give you guys a behind the scenes look of what a shoot actually looks like 90% of the time. It's not pretty! haha

As much as I love posting nice, pretty pictures, that's just not real life, and I don't want you to think that it is. It's way too easy to compare yourself to everyone else on social media (I do it constantly) and sometimes you just need a reminder that nobody looks like that all of the time. Most of the time I honestly look like this...

We took like 10 of these... You know how many actually turned out? Zero. Literally none of them.

This is definitely the one that inspired this post... The wind was just NOT my friend that day!

How most of my pictures turn out honestly.

I hope you had fun looking at all of these terrible pictures of me, I definitely had fun laughing at myself while putting this post together... To be honest, I found so many bad pictures that I considered making this a two part post. There are literally way more bad than good, and even the good are edited to look their absolute best. Just a friendly reminder that what you see on Social Media is not real life, and you should never compare your behind the scenes to someone else's highlight reel. (Cliche, I know. But so true!)

XOXO,

Olivia
