Spring Wardrobe Staples

So, we got one day of 75 degree weather last week and I got so excited that I broke out all of my spring staples and started putting away my sweaters. Big mistake. It snowed two days later. I'm pretty sure I jump the gun on pretty much every season change... Either way, it did get me thinking about all of my favorite Spring and Summer staples! This shirt, for instance. I found it at Old Navy last year and have gotten SO much use out of it. They don't sell the exact one I'm wearing anymore, but I've found and linked identical versions at a few different price points. I love it because it goes with so many different things, you can wear it with pretty much any color, and it can easily be dressed up or down depending on where you're going! It also comes in a dress form, which I have and wore as my go to dress for pretty much every occasion last summer.

Another piece you absolutely need in your Spring transitional wardrobe is a white denim skirt. You can pair it with off the shoulder tops like this one, but you can also pair it with sweaters, button downs and boots for chillier days. The reason I like the white denim is that it looks a little bit more Summery than the blue denim skirt I wore all Fall. It just adds a bit of a lighter touch to any outfit.

The next thing on my Spring staples must have list is a good, comfortable pair of wedges. Lately, I've been starting to replace all of my booties with fun wedges! It's a great, easy way to make an outfit feel ready for spring without going full on bright colors and bare shoulders.

Finally, the bandana trend that we saw a bit of last year is coming back this year in full force! I am obsessed with the way that they make any outfit feel instantly cooler! They go really well with off the shoulder tops, but I've also seen them worn with striped tees and even button downs and look amazing. This is definitely my favorite Spring/Summer trend I've been seeing so far!

What are your Spring wardrobe staples?

XOXO,

Olivia
