5 Ways to Style a Patterned Tank + My Favorite looks From Loft 40-50% off Sale!

So, I don’t typically post blog posts on weekends, BUT, I found out yesterday when I went out to do some shopping at Loft that they’re having an amazing sale (50% off full priced tops and beach faves, and 40% off of almost everything else with code “FUNTIMES”) right now, and it’s only going to last until Sunday night, so I decided to break my “no posts on weekends” rule because they have SO many cute things in right now that I figured you guys HAD to know about the sale before it was too late! When I was there, I tried on a ton of different pieces, and found multiple ways to wear a lot of them (YAY versatility!). One piece in particular was this adorable star tank that I am OBSESSED with! As it turns out, Anna tried on and styled the exact same tank two different ways, so we figured, why not do a joint post giving you as many styling options as possible? To see the other two ways that Anna styled the tank, head to her blog, AnnaDanigelis.com! And to see some of my other favorite pieces I tried on when I was there (and a couple more ways to wear the white skirt and the blue shorts) scroll down! Also, if you want more information about how each piece fits, I’ll be posting a full try on session on my Instagram stories later today!

This skirt surprised me by being one of my favorite pieces I tried on, but beware: it runs SUPER big! I typically wear a size 4, and the one I tried on was a size ZERO and it somehow fit perfectly? Pretty sure that’s not how sizing works but thanks for the flattery @loft. To be fair, I do have a smaller waist so I typically have to buy skirts in small when I am a medium in almost everything else, but DEFINITELY size down a size or two if you order this skirt!

This is the most casual look I created with this tank and is probably what I would wear most often if we’re being honest, just because you guys know I am ALL about being comfy. These shorts were another piece that I LOVED because they were comfy and flattering, and I feel like I could get so much use out of them! They run a little on the bigger side too, but definitely not as big as the skirt! I’m wearing an XS here, but would have sized up to the S if they had had one in stock!

This was definitely the most FUN look I created with this top, and I think it would be perfect for the 4th! I’m wearing a size 2 in this adorable wrap skirt, so it does run a bit big but is slightly adjustable since it wraps. I also think the skirt would be super cute with a plain black or white top, and I LOVE the way they styled it on the website with a sweater tank! The possibilities here are literally endless! It would also make a great start to a Minnie Mouse halloween costume, so there’s that… lol

Now for some of my other favorites…

This top was one that honestly really surprised me! It was cute on the hanger, but it was even cuter on! I grabbed it in a small so I’d say it runs a littleeee on the bigger side, but definitely not nearly as big as some of the other pieces I tried on!

You guys know I love a good denim dress, and I thought the buttons on this one made it so fun! I found that their dresses actually fit pretty tts, and I’m wearing a 4 in this one! Fair warning, if you have a bigger chest this dress might not be for you. I am a 34D and found that the button was gaping a tiny bit, so if you’re any bigger than that you may want to size up just a bit to give yourself more room!

Y’all… THIS. DRESS. Omg. I am seriously so in love with this dress! This is another piece that did fit TTS (wearing a size 4) and was so cute and flattering! It’s super lightweight so it would be absolutely PERFECT for any summer weddings you’ll be going to, AND it’s on super sale, making it under $50!

You guys know I love my sweaters, and this SUN sweater is perfect for cooler summer nights or for traveling, because airplanes get soo cold and this will keep you warm (but not too warm) and comfy! I want to say I grabbed a small, but I’d probably size up to a medium for a bit more of an oversized look (and because oversized sweaters are wayy comfier!)

Last but definitely not least, I have been looking for the perfect sweater tank, and fell in love with this one! It’s nice and thick so you don’t have to worry about your bra showing through (I’m wearing a black bra here and you can’t even tell!) and it comes in both white and pink! I’m wearing a size small, but could have easily sized up to my usual medium, so it just depends on how you want it to fit and if you’re wanting it to be oversized or have a more fitted look! Also, HELLO 3rd way to wear these cute and comfy shorts!

So that was everything I tried on in store, but they have SO many cute pieces right now and they’re all SUCH a good deal! If you’ve been looking to stock up on cute summer pieces, now is the time!
