Shop Your Closet: Loungewear Outfit Inspiration

Hey friends! I know we’ve all been LIVING in our comfy clothes lately, and I don’t know about you, but seeing everyone in their cute tie dye matching sets has got me wanting to shop like no other! BUT, if I’m being honest, I haven’t bought a single thing since this whole pandemic situation started, and I probably won’t.

I know that everyone is sharing their “comfy work from home finds” with swipe up links on Instagram, or doing round up blog posts, and I’m not saying I won’t eventually share a post like that because honestly they can be fun to put together, BUT just keep in mind: you don’t NEED to buy anything new. Nobody is going to see you, and this will eventually end. So you don’t need a closet full of new loungewear. If you want to, great! If a new outfit is something that will bring you excitement and joy during this time where we’re all going a little crazy, I am ALL for it! But don’t feel pressured to shop just because it looks like everybody else is, and because everybody is pushing and sharing sales.

That being said, I’ve been having fun shopping my own closet during my time at home, and putting together cute (well, sometimes) and comfy outfits from things that I already own! I am linking the pieces that are linkable, but the main purpose of this post is to give you guys inspiration to put together outfits with things that you already have in your closet.

If you’re like me and trying to avoid the temptation to shop right now, I hope this post gave you some comfy outfit inspiration to try out at home with pieces you already own!

XOXO,
